There's so much awesome in the above picture.  Makes me miss the Appalachians.

From US Forest Service Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest:
"Soldiers from the U.S Army's 5th Ranger Training Battalion boost volunteer efforts by hand carrying heavy lumber along the Appalachian Trail for new sustainable tent pads on Hawk Mountain on February 17, 2016."

I have been working on updating the family's First Aid kit and putting together a mobile trauma/first aid kit for the car and pack carry.  ITS Tactical recently posted an article on the 2015 update for the CoTCCC medical Guidelines which they followed in creating the first aid and trauma kits that they carry on their site.

Goruck announced the schedule for new kill that 5K and other events that they have combined into weekend long events called Bridging the Gap, referring to he gap between military and civilian worlds.  Events include Kill that 5K, Kids Ruck events and Ruck training classes.

The author of Extreme Ownership: How U.S. Navy SEALs Lead and Win, Jocko Willink, has some great videos from his podcast on youtube which I think are the new go-to motivational video.
