EDC And Stocking Stuffer Gift List 2015

I hear a lot that guys or fans of the outdoors are hard to buy for.  I think that may be true if the person buying doesn't have the same interests.  So to help with that I've put together a list of less expensive, stocking stuffer type items for the guy, outdoorsmen or camping/survival fan on your list.

I personally think you can't own too many different knives and have multiple posts about recommended knives here on the blog.  So this list will (mostly) stay away from knives.




As the title suggests, this list will focus on some items to upgrade your EDC or camping supplies.


Hazard 4 Launch Pad Ipad Sleeve - $30

An item I will personally be purchasing shortly.  Fits iPad and most tablets with quilted lining, Molle and hook & loop on the back with hook & loop and bungee closure.  Comes in black, coyote (pictured) and 2 camo patterns.  Buy from Amazon as they are $10 more on the Hazard 4 Website.


Premium Leather Orbitkey - $30

I love the idea of this and the next product of pinning your keys together so they don't end up in a huge tangled ball in your pocket. Holds 2-7 keys and comes in many nice looking colors of leather.


KeySmart - Compact Key Holder - $20

Different design using metal sides but the same idea to keep your keys straight.  Holds 2-8 or 2-10 keys and comes in many colors.


Swiss+Tech Utili-Key 6-in-1 Tool - $10


This is a great little tool that I got for Christmas one year.  It just hides on my key ring and I forget its there until I need it.


Screwpop Stainless Steel Utility Knife - $11

This knife safely holds a standard replaceable razor blade until you need to deploy it.  Would be guest for a first aid or survival kit or just thrown in a pocket of your pack for emergencies.


Nalgene BPA Free Tritan Water Bottle 1-Quart - $10

The classic Nalgene continues to be a mainstay in the outdoor world.  Water bottles are another item that you can never have too many of.  I have had so many of them, even before they were BPA free.  They come in 20 colors including Glow in the dark which I need!

Small but possibly life-saving item to stash in a survival or camping kit.
