Pictured is the standard version as well as the recent Winter 2010 Color edition.
I have a goal of reading a classic book this year. I think that is one of those things one should do every year. Like watching the sun come up at least once a year when you don't have to be up already for work. I had a couple very good experiences doing this last week before the time changed.
Here is a good and inexpensive place to start. And better yet its two-for-one:
A Tale of Two Cities and Great Expectations: Two Novels, which is currently only $3.16, and the Kindle edition is only $5.99!
As I've said before, a couple of my favorite magazines are National Geographic Traveler, Outside Magazine and there is a great deal on Backpacker right now.
Random useful product. Architec Stretch Cooking Band, 2-Inch, Package 20, Assorted Colors -- Can be used for many purposes during travel, in your pack, car, around the house, and since they are made of silicon, they will not degrade over time like rubber bands do.
You can always use more Paracord. Good for wrapping knives, tying up shelters, many uses in the shop, and of course for making Paracord Bracelets for Emergencies.
